In line with its 2023–2027 roadmap, and aligned with the 2023–2035 National Literacy Strategy, the National Agency for the Fight against Illiteracy (ANLCA) has made the training of literacy professionals a top priority.
This strategic priority led to the creation of the Institute for Training in Literacy Professions (IFMA), a flagship initiative technically supported by UNESCO and financially backed by the European Union Delegation to Morocco.
IFMA responds to the increasing demand for qualified literacy professionals by offering an innovative and sustainable training solution. Its hybrid model combines in-person instruction with distance learning, providing flexibility that meets the needs of diverse learner profiles, regional contexts, and varying schedules.
The IFMA targets the following groups.
Literacy Facilitator
Directly responsable for adult literacy through their multi-dimensional interventions in the field.
Supervisor

Trainer of Trainers
