ANLCA is governed by a transparent and structured system, based on a clear division of responsibilities. This governance model ensures effective implementation of the national illiteracy eradication strategy in coordination with all relevant actors.
The Agency’s governance is structured around three main bodies:
Board of Directors
Chaired by the Head of Government, it defines strategic orientations, ensures alignment with national policies, and supervises implementation.
Audit Committee
Ensures the integrity of internal control systems, reviews management procedures, and oversees the use of financial and human resources.Strategic and Investment Committee
Provides guidance on programmatic and investment decisions, evaluates project proposals, monitors implementation, and ensures alignment with ANLCA’s priorities.
This governance structure promotes alignment between strategic leadership, operations, and stakeholders. It ensures sound management, accountability, and effective coordination at all levels.
