SELECTION OF LITERACY PROFESSIONALS

Selecting literacy professionals is crucial to program quality. ANLCA uses fair, transparent, and rigorous criteria, in coordination with regional partners and implementing bodies. Selection considers educational background, language skills, social engagement, and the ability to work in difficult settings such as rural or underserved areas.

Priority is given to candidates who are motivated, adaptable, and open to adult-centered pedagogi
Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for career development and a genuine commitment to making a lasting contribution to the national literacy effort. ANLCA ensures geographic equity in selection, especially in rural, mountainous, and peri-urban areas, to promote effective and inclusive coverage.

Through this rigorous process, the Agency aims to build a pool of qualified, dedicated trainers capable of implementing modern and effective teaching approaches across the country.
